Houses of Parliament visit- March 2025
On 6th March, a group of 30 children went on an exciting adventure to London.
They travelled to Euston on a train and experienced how London commuters travel to work each day by navigating the tube lines. The children were very sensible and had lots of lovely compliments on their positive behaviour and excellent manners!
They finally arrived at their destination - The Houses of Parliament! Luckily, the weather was fantastic, so they were able to eat lunch outside by the River Thames with a brilliant view of the London Eye.
After lunch, the children were able to go into the Houses of Parliament and experience two live debates in the House of Lords and the House of Commons. They then took part in a workshop looking at how our laws are made before heading home. Everyone had a brilliant day!!
Thank you to the staff and parent helpers who made this trip run so smoothly.
