Year 5 had an excellent trip to Lyme Park which was fully-funded by Plant Mcr. Once we arrived, we cracked straight on with some forest activities with the rangers, including foraging and forest management (pruning trees and sawing fallen branches). After lunch, we were challenged to make Christmas decorations from all natural materials such as pine cones, sticks and holly. It was a fantastic day where we learnt things that we can take back to our own forest school.
