Our New Garden
Throughout this week, year 2 and year 3 children have really got their hands dirty - planting edible plants in our farm garden in Forest School. Year 3 have planted the new creations in the entrance area and woodland ferns in Forest School. Year 4 pupils have put some very beautiful fruit trees in our Forest School and some year 4 and 5 children created lovely arrangements in the school car park green area.
It all looks amazing and there are more planting workshops lined up for children in Reception and year 5 in mid-May.
A huge Thank You to Liz Dalby-Webb, Andy Farrington and Gary Rumens from the Plant Co-operative Manchester (NOMA) team and Cloud Gardener Jason Williams for giving us such a beautiful school garden and for all their hard work helping us put it all together in some very amazing planting workshops. You make our school a better and greener place.
