Year 3 has explored the work of Heather Hansen. She uses her whole body to create large gestural movements with charcoal. These movements create beautiful shapes and patterns. We had a go at creating gestural movements on large pieces of paper. We explored the different shapes and lines that we could make. We also explored how different pressures create different tones - and we realised how easy charcoal is to smudge!
