The New Islington News – Edition 16

Celebrating our pupils:

Soline and Zhuo Yuan, Morgan and Hannah, Peace and Victoria I, Angela and Rosie, Emily, Yohoni, Samanvi and Kairo, Venice and Logan, Minnell and Ella

Music appreciation:

Native indigenous music traditions – focus on Australia. The children saw, heard and played a real Didgeridoo

Smart Watches:

Please do not let your child wear a smartwatch to school. They are a real distraction in lesson times, a cause of conflict at playtimes and there is a safeguarding risk as some can take photographs and videos. There is also the danger of them getting lost or damaged. Thank you for your support in this.

Free School Meals:

As hard times hit all families, we advise everyone to check if they are eligible for free school meals. Please click the link or contact the office for help:  https://www.gov.uk/apply-free-school-meals
