New Islington News - edition 2

Another busy week here at New Islington!

Arbor - our new communication app. Thank you for coming on this journey with us! It's not always been easy, but together we will get there.

One of the 'Ways of Being Co-op' values is 'succeed together' and this week has shown how, working with our amazing office team, everyone is getting to grips with this new system.

Huge thanks must go to Mrs Kenny-Roberts, Miss Kenny, Miss Nixon and Miss Bowden who have worked so hard to ensure the transfer over to Arbor has been smooth.

Thanks to you, our parents, for being patient and understanding when you couldn't always get an answer immediately.

Changes and additions this week: Learning Alongside dates changed with details and times added - now on 17th, 18th and 19th October. Plus a new Parent Workshop focussing on mental health and wellbeing - on 20th October and 10th November.

Manchester Central Foodbank: We will be making a harvest collection for Manchester Central Foodbank in the last week of this half-term. If you could pick up one extra item of tinned food each time you go shopping over the next few weeks, your contribution would be greatly appreciated.

Forest School - as the weather changes, it's really important that all children come to school dressed appropriately. Black jogging bottoms, a warm black hoodie, trainers or wellies are essential, along with waterproof and warm coat.
